Agreed. Though the spider web scared me at first (I suppose that was intended).

Yeah, the darker background is nice, though what would be even better though is if it matched your current theme (ie. dark theme, dark background, light theme, light background). Halloween makeover is still awesome though :)

Agreed Mat. So. It’s November. Shouldn’t the original icon come back? Or have we been spoiled by Dr. Santa Majekyll & Mr. Hyde?

“[2006-11-02: REVISION 1324]

[REMOVED] TextMate no longer pays tribute to human sacrifices, rape, nor does it show a picture of the God of the deaths in your dock — ticket 945BEB5D”

And thank you for that. I was also looking for the regular icon in the dock. Hell, we don’t even celebrate Halloween in my country…

If the icon turns into Santa or something Christmas like in a few weeks I want my money back.

So, have you moved on from BBEdit? It always seemed a little clunky to me.

Yes and no. BBEdit’s Find & Replace and Find Differences still run circles around anything TextMate offers (both in terms of speed and UI) but as of six months ago the majority of my coding time is spent in the latter.
