I am not pandering. I’m only doing what Jon told me to do:
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open the book to page 23.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
“But outside these fault-tolerant environments, the symptoms of disease and decay have already started to appear.”
I am amazed that the fifth sentence on page 23 of the nearest book was the only one on the page to not contain the word “site” or “browser.” And I thought any line from this particular book would be a dead give away.
Since there’s nothing in the rules requiring me to post the name of the book, I’ll let you tell me what it is.

i smell a wumpus. oh wait, no - it’s zeldman!
Really, I’m not pandering. I’m at work and DWWS just happens to be on my desk. I even don’t remember how it got there. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t usually have to take it out of my bag. It must have climbed out…
My quote would have been from DWWS but I reached into my bag here at work and found I must’ve left it at home.
Kevin and I did this for a short spell a few months ago, except it was the 39th page and the 8th sentence or something, and we would illustrate whatever happened to be there. We were using old pulp novels so it worked out well, until I realized that my drawings look like utter shit when placed next to his.
And we only had one book. So it pretty much died after “War with the Evil Power Master”

I aint got no blog, but here is what I got after reaching for…
“Furthermore, the development of the migratory movement gives an enormous impetus to the disintegration of the peasantry, and particularly of the agricultural peasantry.”
… Lenin, not Zelman ;).
In a book on **scuba diving ** I find this sentence :
“La troisime colonne, intitule T, indique la dure de la plonge, c’est dire le temps entre l’instant o vous vous tes immerg et celui o vous avez amorc votre remonte vers la surface la vitesse de 15 mtres par minute.”
Jenom kdy současně určme řku i oba vodorovn okraje, prvek můe zabrat men prostor, ne m k dispozici.
Do you understand? :-)
