Blue Collar Update

Quick update here. Our 11 hour drive to Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC fortunately beat the 14 inches that ended up cancelling the Blue Collar Design Symposium. I’ve yet to see the Designologue exhibit but I think we’re on our way to check it out in an after hours, snowed-in tour. There’s a chance we’ll still be speaking tomorrow but The Snow has yet to let up. If you’ve sent me an email recently I probably won’t be able to get back to you until Sunday—I’m not spiting all of you for the heated debate at the Web Standards Awards site. Discourse is good.

It’s dangerous to get snowed-in at a conference. When you panick and turn to cannibalism, you lose a LOT of credibility.

This site is fantastic, Shaun. I really am floored, it’s such a lovely integration of flash, css and markup. You might want to take it down a notch, you are making the rest of us look bad. Don’t listen to any of those nay-sayers.
