Talk about backward compatibility (link removed) I’ve got the best of both worlds—OS X and OS 0.00?

I unintentionally placed a call to the server in an ActionScript that repeats with each frame. Needless to say IE5 (OS 9) ran out of memory and stopped working properly.

No problem, I thought, I’ll just quit and restart the app—this is what I got.

Turns out it was a system wide error—the only apps that worked were ones that had been left open (Audion) along with PictureViewer and Windows Media Player.
